MFT Somebunny | Gift Card

When I first saw the My Favorite Things Somebunny stamp set, I loved how adorable it was but it wasn’t very high on my wishlist so I gave it quite a few misses. Last week, I saw the set again and decided to get it since I was working on some Spring themed ideas.

I kept things simple and created a little gift card holder with a watercoloured bunny and matched it with the “Somebunny Thinks You’re Special” sentiment. Here’s the finished little three-fold card that has space for a handwritten note from the sender and a preloaded gift card for coffee/tea.

This little card will be heading to its forever home this weekend inside a matching paper pot of hydrangeas, cut from the Hydrangea Tray SVG set by The Dreaming Tree.

Thank you for stopping by!

Out With The Old, In With The New

Happy twenty-seventeen! In all honestly, the 365 days of twenty-sixteen was a roller-coaster of ups and downs and as the days passed by, it became more and more of a hazy blur. I made plans and lists and I even planned lists (and plenty of them) but everyday life had a mind of its own so quite a bit of things had to take a back seat.

One of the things on my list was to continue blogging, which obviously didn’t happen much last year. When I did sit down and clicked on “New Post”, my mind went blank from the clutter on my old blog. So for twenty-seventeen, I decided that new beginnings were in order and so, here we are.

Inked by Jamie is about life in general until it settles down a tad. I also thought it apt to change the name of my blog since “thirty-something” will be a thing of the past in a couple of months.

So until my next post, have a fabulous twenty-seventeen and to new wonderful beginnings that are as awesome as a hot cuppa on Monday mornings.

Inked By Jamie is Under Construction

20161101-00

Hello! Thank you for being curious enough to come check out how everything is progressing here at Inked by Jamie. I am currently working out the kinks of familiarizing myself with WordPress while creating a minimal and functional style I am comfortable with. After all, life is complicated enough. Writing about it shouldn’t.

Things here should start rolling come the new year although there will be occasional posts between now and then to sort out what needs sorting out with this new platform. So until then, mark your calendars and I hope to see you back here when the fireworks light up the night sky wherever you are come twenty-seventeen.

xoxo Jamie
